The utility of Team Building activities in events

Which type of activities are more stimulating for team building?

Actions that may stimulate team cohesion, improve internal communication processes, and help to overcome challenges are those including sport and games, therefore involving shared recognitions or rewards.

Guinness Records challenges, activities that mix tradition and technology, or those celebrated in non-conventional venues are in high demand.

Please, share your views on the opinion that team building activities are not good markers for shy employees/participants?

There are specific team building activities, such as the ‘ice-breakers’, usually organized for conventions with guests coming from different countries or delegations who have never met before.

On the other sides, corporate coaching activities allow to assess the different levels of skills and experience pf each participant, something essential to correctly adjust activities and avoid judgement. After all, the objectives are to increase personal motivation and to build efficient work teams.

In this sense, activities such as word games, trivia challenges, or sports are quick and funny proposals that may suit any event. However, organizers must evaluate different levels to adapt activities to groups and participants’ profile and thus offering a unique experience.

Which aspects would you like to stimulate in a play-oriented way, and how?

It is crucial to foster and to strengthen the sense of belonging as well as improving relationships among employees in organizations. In order to attain these goals, we would design team activities that will boost trust and sense of belonging, and on the other side activities that improve work relations.
