Objectives that were to achieve:

Making a fair where the whole family and friends can experience unforgettable moments at significant days like Christmas. Offering a broad range of games, sports and entertainment which comprises classical games as well as modern technologies.

Description of the event:

The fair and congress palace transformed into a huge theme park with innumerable entertainment possibilities. All of the pavilions provided different offers and thus the visitors had a broad spectrum of leisure activities to choose from.

Pavilion 1, called „Play Ground“, was a huge success both among the children and the rest of the family. Areas like the „Play Club“, with bouncy castle, labyrinth, bull riding etc. or the „Play Stage“ where there were daily shows taking place, were visited a lot as well. „Play Game“ was very popular, too because there one could try virtual games like XBOX, Play Station, Wii and adventure games like paintball and laser games. Moreover, an innovation for enthusiasts of skatesports was presented: the „Puzzle Park“, where the skaters could arrange themselves. The music studio was very popular among the youngsters because the visitors were the percussion instruments themselves. Especially the bouncing boots were very popular among the children and their parents.

An entertainment offer according to Montessori was especially arranged for autistic children and children with the Down-syndrome. Universo Salmah, a complex creation which is based on the development of the consciousness about the environment among children and adolescents, focuses on the build-up of a sustainable society and was also represented in „PLAY“.

On the other side in the Pavilion 2, in the „Play Park“, there were countless attractions of the “hell street” offered to all age groups. Many people visited the Pavilion 3, FIBES, because it offered the biggest Indoor-Gocart-circuit ever built in Seville. With more than 5000m² it brought speed and competition to the family members.
On the days of the 22nd, 23rd und 24th of December Santa Claus was seated in the cupola of FIBES an on the 25th of December the 3 holy kings came along to collect the children’s’ lists of wishes. For a little entrance fee, they gave them toys or clothes to support the ONG Humana. This soldiery initiative was a big success of „PLAY“ because the entrance of FIBES was full of children’s’ toys and clothes.
